Join United With Youth To Create Positive Community Impacts

 

United With Youth - an active group of young adults 18-35 years of age - is working with Renfrew County United Way to create positive impacts in our communities. The group's focus is on engaging youth and addressing their needs and challenges. If you're interested in learning how you can get involved, send an expression of interest to [email protected]. Members are welcome from all parts of Renfrew County.

United Way Seeks Volunteers

Renfrew County United Way is seeking volunteers for:

  • Community Campaign Committees in the following areas: Arnprior & Area, Renfrew & Area, Whitewater Region/Bonnechere Valley Areas, Pembroke/Petawawa Areas, North Renfrew, and Killaloe/Barry's Bay Areas.
  • Board of Directors representatives for Renfrew & Area and North Renfrew.
  • United Way's Generation Next Cabinet (United With Youth) - young adults 18-35 years of age from Arnprior, Renfrew, Cobden, Eganville, Killaloe, Barry's Bay, Petawawa, & North Renfrew

United Way Distributes 4Q Allocation Cheques to Member Agencies

On March 1, 2011, Renfrew County United Way distributed 4th Quarter Allocation cheques to its twelve Member Agencies totalling $61,250.00. These funds support a variety of human services from youth activities, seniors' care, family crisis services, medical-related transportation, vision care services and violence support services men, women and children.

United Way Launches 211 Service in Renfrew County

Lead agency, Renfrew County United Way, launched 2-1-1 service in Renfrew County on January 28, 2011 at a community celebration held at Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke. 211 is an easy to remember 3-digit telephone number that connects callers to a full range of non-emergency human services information. It's free, confidential, multi-lingual and available 7 days / week.

2010 Fundraising Campaign

Renfrew County United Way launches its 2010 Fundraising Campaign on September 1st with a celebration and community barbeque at Pembroke’s Waterfront from 4:30 – 7:00 PM.

Campaign Goal

The United Way’s 2016 campaign goal is $405,000

 
As of February 19, 2016 we have $345,718.00 in pledges.
